As I grumbled my way out the front door this morning at 7AM to tell the dogs to "Go Home!", I was greeted with a nice cool breeze and this beautiful sunrise. I like God's way of saying "Good morning!". :)

Lubbock Floods!
So, as we're all focused on the east coast and hurricane Ike, Lubbock got 6 inches of rain from the west yesterday and flooded! It's true, anytime Lubbock got more than an inch, there were big puddles everywhere...making the walk across campus to the engineering key kind of interesting. Laura emailed me some pictures of the stadium. I really liked this one :) Could this mean a new sport for Texas Tech athletics?
