Costume Preview

We dressed up the little guy in his Dino costume tonight. He's so cute! :)
Since we live in a neighborhood now, our HOA (Home Owners Association) was throwing a party at the park down the street. We took Patrick out just to see what it was all about. Here are some pictures; I'm sure we'll take more tomorrow.

We're Moved In!

Moving day was the 21st. We celebrated Patrick's 1st Birthday on the 25th - I'll have to post pictures/video later. His actual birthday was on the 26th, but we had friends and family over on the Sunday before - lots of fun! Anyway, we wanted to post some pictures to let you all see a bit of what it looks like with furniture, etc. We're still trying to get things up on the walls, so don't mind the mess in the background, that's what all the "clutter" is. ;)

Well, you are more than welcome to come visit - we'll try and get a guest bed in that spare room! :) Brian and I feel very blessed to be able to own a house. Especially one that is so beautiful! We are first time home buyers, so we qualify for the tax credit. That was actually what got us looking in the first place. I guess you never know what you'll find! Plus, it's about 5 minutes away from my sister's house! Perfect!

Still Packing...

We're still packing. The boxes keep filling up and there seems to be no end in sight! Well, to be fair, it's probably not quite that bad. ;) We'll still be able to leave small things here and come back for them later. I really don't like packing though; it made me sick. I've been fighting something all week, ick! That's why I'm taking a break right now to blog! :D

Spring Again?

If I didn't know better, I would say it's definitely spring. Everything is green - I think even more green than when it really was spring. Our Crepe Myrtles are blooming again. I'm not complaining, it's just strange. I love the rain - it has been great! I don't think we have mowed the lawn since the middle of last May. :) Patrick and I took the riding lawn mower out on Wednesday and got all of the front and some of the sides done. It's so nice out today! I know it'll rain all weekend, but we still need it. Enjoy!
