Amy's Hospital Info

Hey there! We wanted to make it simple for you to find your way if you are wanting to visit us in the hospital.

Where: St. David's Hospital

Directions to Park:

St. David's Medical Center (SDMC), located on East 32nd Street, between IH-35 and Red River, just north east of the University of Texas.
-Take the "Dean Keeton" exit off of I-35

-From S I-35, take a Right on Dean Keeton

-Take the 1st Right onto Red River

-Take the 1st Right onto 30th Street

Park in the Central Parking Garage (Rates are $1/hour, with a $4 max. fee)

Directions to My Room:

Now that you know where to park, let's get you to the Labor/Delivery/Recovery Area.

-From the Garage, head toward the "Rehabilitation Center" and the "Main Entrance" (there should be signs.

-Walk outside the building on the left side. You should see a really big revolving glass door.

-Go through the revolving door.

-There is a long hallway off to the right. Walk past the elevators and all the way down the hall.

-Turn to the right and there are more elevators.

-Take the elevator to the 3rd Floor.

-At this point, you may want to call Brian (512-424-9954) to let him know that you are here and he will come meet you and escort you to our room.

Visitation Rules:

-Food and drinks are allowed in our room.
-Children are allowed.
-You have to check in at the desk if it's after 8:30 PM
-We'd love to see you, but please let us know when to expect you :)

What's in the Area:

-LBJ Library & Museum (It's free and is very close to the Hospital.)

-Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum

-The State Capitol

Food Close By:
Off the access road to I-35 Northbound, there is a Fiesta grocery store, a Subway, and a Shortstop burger place all in the same parking lot. I think these are the easiest to get to.
