So, as we're all focused on the east coast and hurricane Ike, Lubbock got 6 inches of rain from the west yesterday and flooded! It's true, anytime Lubbock got more than an inch, there were big puddles everywhere...making the walk across campus to the engineering key kind of interesting. Laura emailed me some pictures of the stadium. I really liked this one :) Could this mean a new sport for Texas Tech athletics?

So, my cousin Mark just sent out an email that said, " 11.3" at my house, officially they are saying around 9" for the city " Wow!
